Our 2024 Key Figures
This year, solely for our projects hosted on our platform plantc.be, the companies and citizens who form our community of committed stakeholders for climate and biodiversity, have contributed to the realization of 29 field and forest projects.
Retrospective since 2020
Below is a graph representing the plantings implemented on the ground over the period October 2020 – December 2024.
Since 2020, the PlantC project map (our accomplished missions) has grown year after year. This represents 101 projects (agricultural and forestry) planted.

The year 2024 represents a true confirmation for PlantC, with opportunities and achievements that materialize our commitment, and above all, a new commitment to bring our team to 6 people. Ella Velghe (Landscape Architect) has joined our team, completing our “Project Manager” Team with Camille Maquaire (Landscape Architect) and Harold t’Serstevens (Bioengineer).

Corporate Land
This year, the team supported the implementation of 11 projects on corporate land, combining plantings (trees, hedges), flower meadows, ponds, wildlife shelters, etc.
Each project was designed to strengthen biodiversity and improve ecological connectivity. Thanks to a tailored approach, these developments help integrate nature into professional spaces while addressing current environmental challenges.

Plantation Contracts
Public contract for the planting of 1200 meters of hedges in the Municipality of Amay.
Plantation project including an alignment of 72 trees on the Behotte plain, in Rochefort.
2 municipal projects for ecological connectivity.
SPI
The Liège intermunicipal association appointed PlantC in a framework contract for landscape and environmental measures in 2023.
Our mission comprises 3 components:
- Preparation of a report outlining landscape and environmental measures to be requested/imposed on a company;
- Verification of compliance with landscape and environmental developments requested by SPI from companies, and advice regarding the release of any potential security deposit;
- Ad hoc support to be provided to SPI for drafting urban planning charters, developing landscape and environmental studies, etc.
31 landscape reports and verifications carried out in the Activity Parks in the Province of Liège in 2024.
Conseil’haie – Wrap-up
Since 2023, PlantC has been supporting companies and intermunicipal associations in their hedge and/or tree planting projects.
In 2 years, 156 technical sheets have been prepared by PlantC’s Conseil’haies.
156 technical sheets for planting 45.8 km of hedges and 6,187 trees on corporate and intermunicipal land!
SPGE
The SPGE mission aims to support farmers and certain individuals in the creation and realization of hedge and/or tree planting projects in water catchment prevention zones, water catchment contract zones, and upstream bathing water zones in the Walloon Region.
57 projects supported since 2021.
