In 2022, the Cambier-avocats law firm supported the planting of a hedge of 1,600 plants, 560m long, arranged in a double row. We invited them to the field at the beginning of spring 2023! There’s nothing like an immersive experience in real conditions to verify the hedge’s composition, which includes 8 different species. (hawthorn, blackthorn, guelder rose, rowan, common elder, dogwood, wild rose, hazel).
” As part of a partnership with PlantC, we participated in the financing of 560 meters of double-row hedges, planted by Luc Joris, a farmer in Chastre (Géronvillers farm).
The PlantC project aims to work for the climate and biodiversity by financing and participating in planting projects, not at the other end of the world, but here in Belgium.
Luc Joris’s project is the implementation of a sustainable agronomic model, which aims to ensure reasonable production while restoring soils and biodiversity, increasing carbon sequestration in the soil, and reducing its greenhouse gas emissions. The results on biodiversity are already impressive.
