PlantC is proud to announce the renewal of its membership in The Shift
The Shift is the first, largest, and most diverse sustainability community in Belgium. Born from the fusion of the worlds of entrepreneurship, civil society, and science ten years ago, we bring together those who want to accelerate the sustainable transition. With more than 500 members, we break down barriers and bring unexpected partners to the table: peers from other sectors, pioneering companies, experts, and policymakers. By joining forces, let us take on the most complex sustainability challenges in our country. Because together, we go further.
Why The Shift?
We wish to assert our national positioning in terms of Nature restoration and our resolutely Belgian roots — not just Walloon. This is why we work daily to expand our presence across the entire territory, both through the location of our projects and by making our communications available in the different languages of the country.
Joining a movement like The Shift was therefore a natural choice.
In concrete terms, how does PlantC support The Shift?
- Learning: We participate in most of their events where the themes addressed are important to PlantC. Naturally, this includes specific programs like The Shift Biodiversity and The Shift Climate.
- Active participation: We are at the disposal of The Shift to provide our knowledge and skills on matters of Nature-based solutions, biodiversity, carbon sequestration through nature, regenerative agriculture, or the forestry sector.
- Partnership: We mention The Shift movement and community whenever possible within our network, according to their needs.
- It feels good: to join a network that elevates you, listens to you, and supports you in your mobilization. We feel less alone and well-supported.
