PlantC is partnering with Wildhartt to help you discover an exceptional area and offer you the opportunity to enjoy a unique experience in the heart of nature.
The prize: 2 “Deer Rut & Packrafting in the Ardennes” experiences for 2 people.
The winners will set off to discover Cheneux, a preserved natural setting and Natura 2000 site, through a day combining hiking, packrafting, and wildlife observation.
A day in the heart of nature
The experience will begin at 11:30 AM in Cheneux, with a presentation of the day by the guide before setting off for a hike through the Ardennes landscapes.
After this first immersion in nature, a picnic break will allow you to fully enjoy the setting before continuing the adventure.
The afternoon will be dedicated to packrafting, using a small, lightweight boat to navigate the river. After learning how to prepare and use the equipment, participants will head to the Amblève for a descent of approximately 5 kilometers.
At the end of the day, a completely different spectacle awaits. Head to the Froidcour forest for a guided walk to discover the deer rut. At this time of year, stags make themselves heard to attract females and assert their presence. A privileged opportunity to observe and, above all, listen to this fascinating natural phenomenon, while respecting the wildlife and its environment.
The day will end around 9:00 PM, after several hours of immersion in the heart of the Ardennes landscapes and biodiversity.
