Project News in 2022
Early 2022, PlantC was able to observe the project’s progress with the forester and the Royal Forestry Society of Belgium.
During this visit, the forester reminded us how important it is for citizens and businesses to get involved in reforestation projects in Belgium. Indeed, it can be complicated for foresters to manage plantations. Firstly, to unite family members around the cause, but also because global changes affecting our forests can discourage foresters’ ambitions. Without the help of the Royal Forestry Society of Belgium (SRFB), a key partner of PlantC, the management of forest plots will be increasingly abandoned. This support is provided through upfront technical assistance and subsequent financial support.

Supporting tree planting in Belgium is possible. The visit was conducted in the presence of representatives from Double Tree, a major contributor to the reforestation project!
