CBC’s Impact in Figures

PlantC and CBC Bank and Insurance have a long history. Since late 2020, CBC has decided to support planting projects in Belgium. Their objective is to contribute to carbon sequestration through local projects with PlantC.

Des peupliers à Attert, sur 0,77 hectares. Au total, ce projet implique 1.154 arbres, soit 390 tonnes de CO2 avec l’aide de PlantC.

Pour ce reboisement, 9 espèces d’arbres différentes, feuillues et résineuses, sont implantées sur 2,5 hectares. Pour ce projet, on s’attend à une régénération naturelle de frêne.

Reboisement à Beuzet

2021

A Beuzet, la parcelle forestière a subi une coupe après chalarose du frêne. 3.225 plants ont été utilisés pour le reboisement des parcelles.

1.575 arbres ont été plantés à Bertogne (336) sur un peu moins d’1 hectare. Le reboisement est consécutif à la présence de scolytes.

Jonction de haies à Modave

2024

Nous parlons de jonction de haies, car aux 170 mètres de haies vives sur 2 rangs, s’ajoutent quelques 1620m de haies. Un mélange de plus de 12 espèces différentes d’arbres et arbustes indigènes sont désormais plantés.
