Project details

Quentin is a farmer of ducks, sheep, and cows, organically and free-range. He aims to offer quality food through short supply chains.

In 2021, Quentin had the opportunity to expand his farm by an additional 1.4 hectares. The first thing he did: plant trees!

Quentin: artisan grafter

PlantC supports Quentin’s agroforestry approach and his grafting expertise by backing his project to plant and protect a meadow orchard of 34 standard fruit trees, which will protect his livestock and poultry.

Several apple varieties have been planted: “Cwastresse simple”, “Gueule de mouton”, and “Reinette étoilée”.

Dear contributors, you have not only supported sustainable agriculture, but also promoted short supply chains.

The planting was carried out with love in winter 2022. Since then, Eglantine and her friends (Galloway cows) have been living in perfect harmony with this magnificent orchard.

The project in 2022

Despite periods of drought, the fruit trees are thriving. This is not due to chance. Quentin is truly committed to his project and has been diligent in monitoring the planting. And to the great delight of his cows!
